Fernando Sosa hit a great ball. 5 minutes into the match, Benito Zeigler sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Roger Morton threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Benito Zeigler this time. Cory Dill recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chase Kessler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Roger Morton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Willie Santiago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Roger Morton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cold Crushers FC's goalkeeper Roger Morton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 20th minute of the match Quintin Fields sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Riley Stephenson skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Cold Crushers FC booed when Pomeroy AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Zeigler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeremiah Mims didn't quite understand what happened when in the 22 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Cory Dill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Riley Stephenson having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cory Dill in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Riley Stephenson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Riley Stephenson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerald Lyons's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Gerald Lyons recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Riley Stephenson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cory Dill, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the match, Pomeroy AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cory Dill came free, but Riley Stephenson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Sosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Riley Stephenson having to interfere. After some careless play in the Pomeroy AFC defense, Gerald Lyons kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Riley Stephenson. The Pomeroy AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Riley Stephenson should have stopped the shot. The Pomeroy AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Cold Crushers FC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gerald Lyons made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chase Kessler in the 52nd minute of play forced Cold Crushers FC's goalkeeper Roger Morton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerald Lyons sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Chase Kessler recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Riley Stephenson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerald Lyons, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Cory Dill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Riley Stephenson having to interfere. Riley Stephenson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerald Lyons's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Roger Morton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chase Kessler in the 74th minute of play. After 78 played minutes Cold Crushers FC got a freekick which was hit by Shawn Lloyd. Cory Dill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Riley Stephenson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cold Crushers FC's Roger Morton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willie Santiago in the 87th minute of play. If Chase Kessler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cory Dill recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cory Dill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Riley Stephenson having to interfere. Cold Crushers FC played a much better game than Pomeroy AFC and deserved their victory. The Pomeroy AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
