Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alvin Childers got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of Glendora AFC booed when Lake Stevens was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Ludwig didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute of the match Cody Hills shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ali Li showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Roland Ludwig fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lake Stevens's protests and gave Roland Ludwig a yellow card for diving instead. Roland Ludwig hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute, Erik Califf got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ali Li took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alvin Childers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st play minute Ralph Cardwell came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ali Li. 1-0. Kent Raines made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Califf in the 30th minute of play. Kent Raines didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erik Califf went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Erik Califf sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39thth minute of the game Erik Califf who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Glendora AFC's Kent Raines was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 42nd match minute, Glendora AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stephen Pringle to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elias Acevedo in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ali Li prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kent Raines was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Erik Califf showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 59 minute of play. In the 63rd minute Erik Califf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kent Raines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolland Landrum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Raines having to interfere. Erik Califf's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kent Raines read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Ralph Cardwell charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ralph Cardwell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st minute, Ralph Cardwell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lake Stevens's Simon Grady couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Glendora AFC. Kent Raines made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rolland Landrum in the 77th minute. When Alvin Childers came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Glendora AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvin Childers couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Alvin Childers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Glendora AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvin Childers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Li breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rolland Landrum fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Raines having to interfere. If Erik Califf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rolland Landrum received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Kent Raines tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erik Califf fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Raines having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Lake Stevens players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
