Holly Springs's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 16th minute Leonardo Hendricks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ari Schroeder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Milo Atkins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Wiley English made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Milo Atkins in the 17th minute of play. Cason Barney hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Ari Schroeder stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filiberto Copeland's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. After 24 minutes of play, Rapid City FC's Leonardo Hendricks made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ari Schroeder was left in no man's land by his defense there! 29 minutes into the game, Rapid City FC's Leonardo Hendricks nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Leonardo Hendricks managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rapid City FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonardo Hendricks was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. A very good chance. Rapid City FC's Wiley English played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milo Atkins in the 66th minute of play. Holly Springs's Milo Atkins got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ari Schroeder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Hendricks in the 70th minute of the match. After 71 minutes of play, Rapid City FC's Filiberto Copeland made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tuan Byrne kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Holly Springs's goalkeeper Ari Schroeder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filiberto Copeland. The Rapid City FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rapid City FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
