Sid Osborne made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Hendricks in the 23rd minute of play. If Isidro Stoddard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Rapid City FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Cason Barney hit a great ball. The supporters of REAL MADRID CF booed when Rapid City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filiberto Copeland didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute there was a penalty for REAL MADRID CF. Isidro Stoddard stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Wiley English. 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isidro Stoddard in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wiley English prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wiley English stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Young Herring's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Wiley English showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Young Herring in the 43rd minute of the match. Wiley English made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Stoddard in the 44th minute of play. After a rather tough play, REAL MADRID CF's Stanton Engle got a free kick in the 47th minute. The Rapid City FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. REAL MADRID CF were winning 0-3.

Isidro Stoddard showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Wiley English made an important save on a dangerous shot by Heriberto McDermott in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonardo Hendricks in the 63rd minute of play forced REAL MADRID CF's goalkeeper Sid Osborne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wiley English made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Young Herring sent off a good shot on target. In the 69th minute, one of Rapid City FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rapid City FC. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Rapid City FC's goalkeeper Wiley English, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Wiley English didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Young Herring went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Wiley English made an important save on a dangerous shot by Young Herring in the 80th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Rapid City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Stoddard came free, but Wiley English reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Young Herrings short, quick shot in the 98thth minute got Wiley English to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
