The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Monty Carpenter during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 17th match minute, InsigniA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Monty Carpenter to maneuver through the defense. Sergio Walters received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Russ Elias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 28 minutes, Desmond Carroll managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 38th minute, Desmond Carroll made a precise shot to the right of Russ Elias. InsigniA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. InsigniA's Russ Elias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergio Walters in the 43rd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, District Heights's Sergio Walters sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Russ Elias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Monty Carpenter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Rosario Scruggs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Sergio Walters came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the District Heights fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergio Walters couldn't finish the play. In the 58th minute, Sergio Walters got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Derek Garza hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 60thth minute of the game Sergio Walters who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but InsigniA's Russ Elias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Monty Carpenter took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Willis Dotson. Willis Dotson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Sergio Walters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the match, InsigniA's goal looked a bit too open when Desmond Carroll came free, but Russ Elias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Sergio Walters managed to get in a good position for a shot. District Heights's supporters rose to their feet, but Sergio Walters was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Russ Elias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, District Heights's Willis Dotson got control of the ball when Monty Carpenter tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 89th match minute, InsigniA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dalton Dalton to maneuver through the defense. Sergio Walters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. District Heights were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
