Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Emmitt Booth made the kick off and thus started the match. Emmitt Booth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Brock Pepper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Korey Vincent's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Brock Pepper firmly grabbed it by the left post. Conneaut's Emmitt Booth got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 9th minute, Emmitt Booth made a precise shot to the right of Brock Pepper. Bound Brook's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Emmitt Booth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Korey Vincent recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ace Spaulding took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised J.C. Mendoza. J.C. Mendoza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Bound Brook's Anthony Russell got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. J.C. Mendoza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anthony Russell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. J.C. Mendoza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonso Shockley in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the game, Bound Brook's Anthony Russell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. J.C. Mendoza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After a rather tough play, Conneaut's Parker Schaffer got a free kick in the 36th minute. J.C. Mendoza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthony Russell in the 39th minute of play. Anthony Russell might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over J.C. Mendoza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anthony Russell ran back to his position shaking his head. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Anthony Russell made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Emmitt Booth notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Bound Brook's Brock Pepper. Brock Pepper was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Anthony Russell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 57 minutes into the match, Bound Brook's Ace Spaulding sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that J.C. Mendoza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 58 minutes into the game, Pat Cronin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bound Brook's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Conneaut the free kick. In the 59th match minute, Bound Brook was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pat Cronin to maneuver through the defense. After 64 played minutes Bound Brook got a freekick which was hit by Olimpiu Gorgan. A collision led to Bound Brook getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Leon Darby hit a great ball. In the 69th minute Emmitt Booth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brock Pepper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brock Pepper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Korey Vincent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Conneaut booed when Bound Brook was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olimpiu Gorgan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Ace Spaulding recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of J.C. Mendoza. Ace Spaulding showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-3. After 86 played minutes Conneaut got a freekick which was hit by Korey Vincent. The long shot by Fabricius Rüttimann in the 89th minute really tested J.C. Mendoza's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 90 minutes, Curt Wong mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Conneaut and the Bound Brook players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Conneaut getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Curt Wong hit a great ball. Brock Pepper came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Conneaut's Emmitt Booth. But to his dismay, Emmitt Booth quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3.
