Spectators: 6712 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 4thth minute of the game Forrest Barrera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zebulon AFC's Mervin Valle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tanner Ezell during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to New Ulm AFC getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Tanner Ezell hit a great ball. Zebulon AFC's Sherwood Donaldson got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 13thth minute of the game Jonathan Jones who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New Ulm AFC's Dillon Beltran was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. New Ulm AFC's Dillon Beltran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sherwood Donaldson in the 16th minute of play. In the 18th minute Jonathan Jones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dillon Beltran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 20 minutes, Tyron Myers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New Ulm AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tyron Myers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22ndth minute of the game Sherwood Donaldson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New Ulm AFC's Dillon Beltran was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dillon Beltran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sherwood Donaldson in the 29th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Forrest Barrera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tyron Myers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sherwood Donaldson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sherwood Donaldson hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Forrest Barrera stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tyron Myers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mervin Valle having to interfere. Mervin Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tyron Myers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When New Ulm AFC's Tyron Myers in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zebulon AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Zebulon AFC's Mervin Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Forrest Barrera in the 74th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Zebulon AFC's Rich McCray got a free kick in the 75th minute. Tyron Myers kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 81 minutes in the game, Forrest Barrera dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Mervin Valle stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Forrest Barrera's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. After having played for 86 minutes, Tyron Myers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New Ulm AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tyron Myers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Forrest Barrera might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mervin Valle. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Forrest Barrera ran back to his position shaking his head. Forrest Barrera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mervin Valle having to interfere.
