Spectators: 6709 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 0) Benicia's Andy Haskins started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes of play, Beckett Ridge FC's Ralph Cowan made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rickie Logan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wes Staton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andy Haskins, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Andy Haskins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Andy Haskins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Benicia's supporters rose to their feet, but Andy Haskins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wes Staton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 17 minutes into the match, Beckett Ridge FC's goalkeeper Wes Staton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeremiah Marrero. Jeremiah Marrero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Wes Staton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ralph Cowan in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rickie Logan saved Benicia from getting behind. Ralph Cowan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jonah Gibson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickie Logan having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonah Gibson in the 40th minute of play forced Benicia's goalkeeper Rickie Logan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonah Gibson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wes Staton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andy Haskins in the 47th minute of play.

If Jonah Gibson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonah Gibson in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rickie Logan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jeremiah Marrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wes Staton having to interfere. Jeremiah Marrero struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Wes Staton didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Benicia. A collision led to Benicia getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Tracy Rice hit a great ball. With a little luck, Benicia's Rickie Logan got control of the ball when Jonah Gibson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ralph Cowan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Beckett Ridge FC booed when Benicia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flint Clark didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 76 played minutes, Beckett Ridge FC's Eduardo Burnham shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rickie Logan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Beckett Ridge FC reached it. Jonah Gibson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. In the 83rdth minute of the game Andy Haskins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Beckett Ridge FC's Wes Staton was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
