The tension between the Liverpool FC and the Vacasville AFS players grew even worse after the yellow card. 3 minutes into the game, one of Liverpool FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Sam Jordan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Bret Jeffries made a huge save. Guillermo Carson hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Vacasville AFS defense, Royce Sands kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rory Lacey. The Vacasville AFS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rory Lacey should have stopped the shot. Royce Sands received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Rory Lacey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sam Jordan came free with the goalkeeper in the 27th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bret Jeffries could save by the left post. Rory Lacey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Royce Sands, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Jarrod Carrey charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jarrod Carrey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Vacasville AFS's Aaron Stafford got a free kick in the 38th minute. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Sam Jordan sped through Liverpool FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bret Jeffries. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

Sam Jordan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute, Sebastian LoDuca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 66 played minutes Vacasville AFS got a freekick which was hit by Cory Bowers. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Sam Jordan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vacasville AFS's supporters rose to their feet, but Sam Jordan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bret Jeffries breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Liverpool FC's Bret Jeffries played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oren Hogue in the 77th minute of play. In the 80th minute, Teodoro Kenney hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th match minute, Vacasville AFS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oren Hogue to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Liverpool FC's zone, Sam Jordan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bret Jeffries came out of the goal and Sam Jordan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sam Jordan in the 90th minute of play forced Liverpool FC's goalkeeper Bret Jeffries to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Liverpool FC's Jarrod Carrey got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Bret Jeffries showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sam Jordan in the 94th minute of the match. Rory Lacey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Royce Sands, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, Vacasville AFS could leave the field as winners, despite Liverpool FC having more of the ball for most of the match.
