Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ronald Chandler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Brett Faulkner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugh Warren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ronald Chandler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brett Faulkner having to interfere. In the 18th match minute, Florida FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carson Rosen to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugh Warren in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brett Faulkner saved Florida FC from getting behind. Hugh Warren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Brett Faulkner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carson Rosen hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute of the match Tory McKnight shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brett Faulkner showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hugh Warren struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Brett Faulkner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sturgeon Bay FC. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hugh Warren in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Brett Faulkner saved Florida FC from getting behind. Otis Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brett Faulkner having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 53rd match minute, Florida FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerome Ciccaglione to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Sturgeon Bay FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Walter Farris hit a great ball. Otis Murillo kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After 68 minutes of play, Sturgeon Bay FC's Ronald Chandler made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brett Faulkner was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ronald Chandler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Brett Faulkner made a huge save. Brett Faulkner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugh Warren in the 78th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Florida FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 83 minutes, Sturgeon Bay FC's Tory McKnight got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Brett Faulkner. Brett Faulkner made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Ronald Chandler sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th minute Hugh Warren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brett Faulkner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute of the match, Ronald Chandler got a very nice opportunity to score, but Brett Faulkner was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Hugh Warren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Brett Faulkner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sturgeon Bay FC played a much better game than Florida FC and deserved their victory. The Florida FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
