Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Roberto John started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 2 played minutes SuperSaiyans got a freekick which was hit by Roberto John. Jonas Wolff showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandy Currie in the 3rd minute of the match. Everett Lyles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto John in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Jarvis Seay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonas Wolff stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sandy Currie's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgar Newell in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Everett Lyles saved Union City from getting behind. Sandy Currie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Jonas Wolff tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in SuperSaiyans's zone, Sandy Currie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonas Wolff came out of the goal and Sandy Currie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paul Fritz's late challenge caught a Union City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paul Fritz helped the player get up and apologised. After 30 played minutes SuperSaiyans got a freekick which was hit by Paul Fritz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto John in the 34th minute of play forced Union City's goalkeeper Everett Lyles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of SuperSaiyans booed when Union City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jarvis Seay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Everett Lyles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto John in the 39th minute of the match. Charles Brunson struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Jonas Wolff didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Union City. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Sandy Currie made the kick off in the second half. In the 63rd minute, Chase Sparks got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Union City's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto John came free, but Everett Lyles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to SuperSaiyans getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Milan Bass hit a great ball. Charles Brunson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Paul Fritz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 79 minutes, Milan Bass mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SuperSaiyans and the Union City players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 81 played minutes SuperSaiyans got a freekick which was hit by Milan Bass. It was beautiful to see Union City's Rosario Blankenship in action when he in the 82nd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 84th match minute, SuperSaiyans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milan Bass to maneuver through the defense. After 90 minutes of play, Union City's Chase Sparks made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonas Wolff was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to SuperSaiyans getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Isidro Delong hit a great ball. SuperSaiyans succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Union City had controlled the match.
