Joaquin Morgan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandy Currie, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. The supporters of Union City booed when Winsted AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Richey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joshua Romero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Everett Lyles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Winsted AFC's Joshua Romero in the 19th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Everett Lyles was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Union City through an amazing save. Joaquin Morgan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandy Currie, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Joaquin Morgan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandy Currie in the 28th minute of play. Sandy Currie blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquin Morgan having to make a save. Winsted AFC's Joaquin Morgan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timmy Bright in the 37th minute of play. The supporters of Winsted AFC booed when Union City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosario Blankenship didn't get a good kick on the ball. Everett Lyles acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 40th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dwight Jean. The crowd rose to their feet as Winsted AFC's Morgan Katz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Everett Lyles. That made the score 1-0 after 44 minutes of play.

After 53 minutes, Morgan Katz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Winsted AFC and the Union City players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd minute, Morgan Katz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Sandy Currie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Morgan was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Rosario Blankenship kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After 59 played minutes, Winsted AFC's Dwight Jean shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Everett Lyles came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Winsted AFC reached it. In the 61st minute, Chase Sparks got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Union City's Chase Sparks got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A hard shot 64 in the game by Sandy Currie from a close distance when the talented Joaquin Morgan managed to make a qualified save. Winsted AFC's players were relieved. Joaquin Morgan came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Union City's Chase Sparks. But to his dismay, Chase Sparks quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Chase Sparks took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Joaquin Morgan to make any attempt to save it. In the 75th minute, Union City's Milton Uribe seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Milton Uribe the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Union City protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Milton Uribe had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Union City fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 74th minute. Penalty! Everett Lyles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Morgan Katz in the 90th minute of the match. Chase Sparks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Union City were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
