Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gerardo Coats started the match with the kick off. Stanton Barney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stanton Barney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casey Fuentes having to interfere. Eusebio Terrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Cabourne in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Gerardo Coats cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Eusebio Terrell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Stanton Barney could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Casey Fuentes made a huge save. In the 25thth minute of the game Leonard Cabourne who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Staples AFC's Eusebio Terrell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Raynham FC's Casey Fuentes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ted Dempsey in the 28th minute of play. Stanton Barney sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Casey Fuentes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ted Dempsey, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Leonard Cabourne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Eusebio Terrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Casey Fuentes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Douglass Goodwin in the 37th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Ronald Krause was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Raynham FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Staples AFC the free kick. A collision led to Raynham FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Ronald Krause hit a great ball. Gerardo Coats sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gerardo Coats scored 0-2 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eusebio Terrell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ted Dempsey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Raynham FC got a freekick which was hit by Loren Tuttle. In the 55th minute of the match Dave Vernon shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Casey Fuentes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Casey Fuentes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stanton Barney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ted Dempsey in the 58th minute of play forced Raynham FC's goalkeeper Casey Fuentes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Staples AFC's Andy Greenberg got a free kick in the 59th minute. Douglass Goodwin charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Douglass Goodwin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Staples AFC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Douglass Goodwin hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Staples AFC's zone, Leonard Cabourne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusebio Terrell came out of the goal and Leonard Cabourne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aldo Lozano hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute, Gerardo Coats got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eusebio Terrell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gerardo Coats in the 70th minute of the match. Eusebio Terrell was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Gerardo Coats capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gerardo Coats really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Rob Egan's late challenge caught a Raynham FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rob Egan helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Raynham FC booed when Staples AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rob Egan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Raynham FC's Shannon Winter tried to score from far away in the 80th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Staples AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Coats came free, but Eusebio Terrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gerardo Coats came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Raynham FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerardo Coats couldn't finish the play.
