Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sterling McMullen made the kick off and thus started the match. 7 minutes into the match, Chillum's Ross Irwin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rudy Brandon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chillum's goalkeeper Terence Hatcher, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ross Irwin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rudy Brandon having to make a save. Lewis Goodson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Chillum's zone, Lewis Goodson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Terence Hatcher came out of the goal and Lewis Goodson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Darren Mason hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. If Marco Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 24 minutes into the match, Chillum's goal looked a bit too open when Earl Dill came free, but Terence Hatcher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luther Burks's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Rudy Brandon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 31st minute, Ross Irwin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Chillum's Terence Hatcher played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lewis Goodson in the 33rd minute of play. When Sterling McMullen came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Minnehaha AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sterling McMullen couldn't finish the play. Walton Parker hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. When Minnehaha AFC's Sterling McMullen in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chillum's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Chillum getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Walton Parker hit a great ball. Lewis Goodson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Terence Hatcher having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Luther Burks made the kick off in the second half. Terence Hatcher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sterling McMullen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 56 played minutes Chillum got a freekick which was hit by Walton Parker. In the 58th minute, Minnehaha AFC's Sterling McMullen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Terence Hatcher. Terence Hatcher yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Son Parsons hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. A collision led to Chillum getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Darren Mason hit a great ball. Marco Garcia, 66 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 68 minutes into the game, Rodolfo Barnard was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chillum's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Minnehaha AFC the free kick. After 68 played minutes Chillum got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Barnard. Terence Hatcher acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 69th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Marco Garcia. In the 71st match minute, Chillum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Glen Booker to maneuver through the defense. Sterling McMullen struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Terence Hatcher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Minnehaha AFC. If Lewis Goodson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lewis Goodsons short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Terence Hatcher to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Minnehaha AFC's Sterling McMullen got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodolfo Barnard was shown his second yellow card after 81 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Sterling McMullen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Terence Hatcher. That made the score 0-2 in the 83 minute of play. Jacques Kramers short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Terence Hatcher to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Minnehaha AFC played a much better game than Chillum and deserved their victory. The Chillum players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
