After 3 played minutes Roodhouse got a freekick which was hit by German Christopher. In the 11th minute, Meier FC's Henry Cherry seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Henry Cherry the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Meier FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Henry Cherry had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Meier FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! After having played for 15 minutes, Greg Godfrey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Roodhouse's supporters crossed their fingers, but Greg Godfrey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th minute, Meier FC's Jonah Freeman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Everett Jacobsen. Everett Jacobsen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After 20 played minutes Roodhouse got a freekick which was hit by Rob Craven. Reynaldo Wilkerson came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Roodhouse's Rob Craven. But to his dismay, Rob Craven quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The audience was convinced that Rob Craven's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reynaldo Wilkerson was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. After 31 minutes of play, Roodhouse's Rob Craven made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reynaldo Wilkerson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jasper Hanson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Greg Godfrey might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reynaldo Wilkerson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Greg Godfrey ran back to his position shaking his head. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rob Craven to strike the kick off in the second half. Charlton Lange sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oswaldo Key during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Roodhouse's Oswaldo Key got a free kick in the 55th minute. Rob Craven might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reynaldo Wilkerson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rob Craven ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 59th minute Greg Godfrey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Wilkerson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rob Craven blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Reynaldo Wilkerson having to make a save. Jasper Hanson kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Meier FC's Reynaldo Wilkerson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Greg Godfrey in the 68th minute of play. Reynaldo Wilkerson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Greg Godfrey, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. When Sterling Parra fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Meier FC's protests and gave Sterling Parra a yellow card for diving instead. Sterling Parra kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Roodhouse's German Christopher shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 78th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Reynaldo Wilkerson but with some difficulty. Greg Godfrey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 89th minute by Rosario Hong got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Rob Craven sped through Meier FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Reynaldo Wilkerson. With a little luck, Meier FC's Reynaldo Wilkerson got control of the ball when Rob Craven tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Roodhouse could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Meier FC throughout the match.
