Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kareem Horne kicked off to start the match. The referee ignored Atletico Madrid's protests and gave Rickie London a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Santee FC booed when Atletico Madrid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rickie London didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kraig Lozano in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Levi Frederick prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Levi Frederick came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico Madrid's Jed Spaulding. But to his dismay, Jed Spaulding quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 39th minute, Rudy Daniels hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kraig Lozano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Atletico Madrid's Jed Spaulding slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Levi Frederick. That made the score 4-2 after 44 minutes of play. Levi Frederick made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kraig Lozano in the 49th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kraig Lozano was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jed Spaulding in the 53rd minute of play forced Santee FC's goalkeeper Levi Frederick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
