Suncoast Estates FC's Christian Lewis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Scott Vasquez in the 12th minute of play. Joe Robinson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Lewis having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnold Valentin in the 19th minute of play forced Suncoast Estates FC's goalkeeper Christian Lewis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Wenatchee FC were awarded a corner. Scott Vasquez went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Scott Vasquez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Suncoast Estates FC's Christian Lewis did a great save. Eric Chandler scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christian Lewis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 29 minutes, Werner Carrillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wenatchee FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Werner Carrillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The wind increased when Scott Vasquez made the kick off in the second half. Sam Bennett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronnie Ryan, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Eric Chandler's late challenge caught a Suncoast Estates FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eric Chandler helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Wenatchee FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Eric Chandler hit a great ball. Christian Lewis was a little too slow when Scott Vasquez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 55th minute. The score was now 0-2. When Grant Kimbrough came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Wenatchee FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Grant Kimbrough couldn't finish the play. In the 67th minute of the match Casey Wilkins shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christian Lewis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 70th match minute, Suncoast Estates FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eric Escobar to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Suncoast Estates FC's Christian Lewis got control of the ball when Arnold Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wenatchee FC's Grant Kimbrough pulled a muscle in his back after 86 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 86 minutes, Dustin Rowell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Suncoast Estates FC and the Wenatchee FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Suncoast Estates FC's Dustin Rowell got a free kick in the 88th minute. The Suncoast Estates FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Lewis should have stopped the shot. Wenatchee FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
