Stephan Penn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Javier Krueger in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute Marvin Chester shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stephan Penn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th minute, Pascal Lange fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Ryan Goode kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Shell Point FC's Theron Read broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
