Steve Cummins was a little too slow when Antonio Camacho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 10th minute. The score was now 1-0. When Antonio Camacho came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Colorado Rapids fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antonio Camacho couldn't finish the play. Alec Quinones could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Steve Cummins made a huge save. Tyrell Abel took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Deshawn Olson. Deshawn Olson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Alec Quinones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Skippack's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Antonio Camacho 33 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. Alec Quinones in the 42ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Steve Cummins, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 48th minute, Tyrell Abel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Deshawn Olson was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erik Medeiros made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonio Camacho in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Steve Cummins saved Skippack from getting behind. Erik Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Deshawn Olson having to interfere. Angelo Ziegler hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Skippack's Tyrell Abel got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute Erik Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Deshawn Olson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Erik Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Skippack's goalkeeper Steve Cummins, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 74th minute, Alejandro Buddle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erik Medeiros in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Deshawn Olson saved Colorado Rapids from getting behind. Colorado Rapids's Alec Quinones got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 84 minutes into the match, Skippack's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Camacho came free, but Steve Cummins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the game, Antonio Camacho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Steve Cummins was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Steve Cummins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alec Quinones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antonio Camacho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Steve Cummins read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. In the 98th minute, Luther Freeman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antonio Camacho succeeded in the game's 99th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-3. Colorado Rapids's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
