Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rodrick Goodman started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Jeff Major shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kermit Hodges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeff Major received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Kermit Hodges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Raleigh fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! When Woodrow Gore came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Raleigh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Woodrow Gore couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilberto Kelley got free with Jason Beyer in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chalan Pago FC's Kermit Hodges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeff Major in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chalan Pago FC's goalkeeper Kermit Hodges, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Jeff Major's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kermit Hodges was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. 30 minutes into the match, Raleigh's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrick Goodman came free, but Jason Beyer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jeff Major had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chalan Pago FC's Kermit Hodges played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Woodrow Gore in the 34th minute of play. When Moses Cote fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chalan Pago FC's protests and gave Moses Cote a yellow card for diving instead. Moses Cote hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Chalan Pago FC's Jason Beyer threw himself towards the right post 40 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rodrick Goodman, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 43rd minute Rodrick Goodman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jason Beyer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodrick Goodman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jason Beyer having to make a save. After 45 played minutes Raleigh got a freekick which was hit by Jim Brownell. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Jeff Major made the kick off in the second half. Jeff Major recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Moses Cote kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After 58 played minutes Chalan Pago FC got a freekick which was hit by Ronnie Harding. 59 minutes into the match, Gerard Mackey sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Kermit Hodges threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Gerard Mackey this time. In the 59th match minute, Chalan Pago FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronnie Harding to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Woodrow Gore got free with Kermit Hodges in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th match minute, Chalan Pago FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cary Mueller to maneuver through the defense. 71 minutes into the match, Chalan Pago FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeff Major came free, but Kermit Hodges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aaron Zapata hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Gilberto Kelley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jason Beyer having to interfere. In the 82nd match minute, Raleigh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Zapata to maneuver through the defense. Jim Brownell kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Gilberto Kelley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Jason Beyer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes in the game, Jeff Major fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Kermit Hodges having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Chalan Pago FC's goalkeeper Kermit Hodges had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeff Major. Jason Beyer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrick Goodman, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Chalan Pago FC had won after a very even match.
