Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zachery Potter got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Rory Edwards hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 5 minutes into the match, Portola Hills FC's Thaddeus Whitehead broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, Raleigh's Jim Brownell got a free kick in the 6th minute. Zachery Potter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jason Beyer having to interfere. After 11 minutes, Virgil Vazquez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Portola Hills FC and the Raleigh players grew even worse after the yellow card. Virgil Vazquez kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Collin Bateman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 16th minute Dante Drew shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jason Beyer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zachery Potter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Jason Beyer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Zachery Potter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Woodrow Gore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Collin Bateman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dante Drew sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jason Beyer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Drew in the 38th minute of the match. Aaron Zapata hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Zachery Potter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 48 minutes into the game, Dante Drew cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jason Beyer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

55 minutes into the match, Raleigh's goal looked a bit too open when Zachery Potter came free, but Jason Beyer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Dante Drew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raleigh's Jason Beyer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zachery Potter in the 65th minute of play. Jason Beyer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zachery Potter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Dante Drew came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Portola Hills FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dante Drew couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Jeff Major managed to get in a good position for a shot. Raleigh's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeff Major was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Collin Bateman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zachery Potter in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jason Beyer saved Raleigh from getting behind. Jason Beyer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dante Drew in the 80th minute. After a rather tough play, Raleigh's Aaron Zapata got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute, Jim Brownell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute of the match Thaddeus Whitehead shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jason Beyer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dante Drew might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jason Beyer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dante Drew ran back to his position shaking his head. When Thaddeus Whitehead fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Portola Hills FC's protests and gave Thaddeus Whitehead a yellow card for diving instead. Thaddeus Whitehead hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Gerard Mackey took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Collin Bateman. Portola Hills FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marcellus Rodriquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Jason Beyer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
