Gilberto Kelley hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Gilberto Kelley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Chalan Pago FC's Gilberto Kelley got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Gilberto Kelley managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chalan Pago FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto Kelley was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jason Beyer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Woodrow Gore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kermit Hodges having to interfere. 24 minutes into the game, Nick Cleveland was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chalan Pago FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Raleigh the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chalan Pago FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 26 minutes, Raleigh's Gerard Mackey got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Kermit Hodges. Rodrick Goodman succeeded in the game's 32nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. 35 minutes into the match, Ronnie Harding notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Raleigh's Jason Beyer. Jason Beyer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 40th minute Jeff Major shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kermit Hodges saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Raleigh's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrick Goodman came free, but Jason Beyer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodrick Goodman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Jason Beyer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jeff Major to make the kick off. If Woodrow Gore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kermit Hodges took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Woodrow Gore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chalan Pago FC's Gilberto Kelley got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeff Major fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kermit Hodges having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Rodrick Goodman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kermit Hodges stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeff Major's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Jason Beyer made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Gilberto Kelley sent off a good shot on target. Jason Beyer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrick Goodman in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Rodrick Goodman made a precise shot to the right of Jason Beyer. Raleigh's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Jason Beyer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodrick Goodman's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Jason Beyer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrick Goodman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rodrick Goodman scored 1-4 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jason Beyer, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Woodrow Gore in the 94th minute of play forced Chalan Pago FC's goalkeeper Kermit Hodges to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raleigh's Jason Beyer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 99th minute of the match, managed to save Raleigh from getting a goal against them. Chalan Pago FC played a much better game than Raleigh and deserved their victory. The Raleigh players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
