Elliot Lopes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. A collision led to Nikiski FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Francesco Hubbard hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, Sammy Abbott sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Nikiski FC's Lionel Busby didn't even have to move. Lionel Busby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilber Kearns, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. A collision led to Nikiski FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Scott Tyson hit a great ball. Lionel Busby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilber Kearns in the 32nd minute of the match. 35 minutes into the match, McColl FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jesus Hawthorne came free, but Elliot Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Rigoberto Goddard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to McColl FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Kyle Peoples hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute Nikiski FC were awarded a corner. Joel Heath went to the cornerflag to take it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

If Jesus Hawthorne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elliot Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Hawthorne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Wilber Kearns had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Steve Cermak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Lionel Busby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jesus Hawthorne's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elliot Lopes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Jesus Hawthorne took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Elliot Lopes to make any attempt to save it. After 95 played minutes McColl FC got a freekick which was hit by Kyle Peoples. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Nikiski FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
