Lionel Busby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Del Newton in the 89th minute of play. Trenton Boston's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lionel Busby read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. The Gilmer manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Nikiski FC to win.
