Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of River Oaks booed when Nikiski FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Hawthorne didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lanny Buckner got free with Arnold Cates in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rigoberto Goddard came free with the goalkeeper in the 7th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Arnold Cates could save by the left post. River Oaks's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Lanny Buckner scored to the left of an out of position Arnold Cates, making the score, 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, River Oaks's goalkeeper Arnold Cates had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rigoberto Goddard. Chuck Murry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lionel Busby having to interfere. Arnold Cates showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesus Hawthorne in the 17th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Timmy Arellano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nikiski FC's Lionel Busby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dillon McGrath in the 27th minute of play. In the 35th minute Scott Tyson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnold Cates saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnold Cates took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Hawthorne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the game, Lanny Buckner cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Arnold Cates was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lionel Busby made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chuck Murry in the 42nd minute of play. Chuck Murry recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. River Oaks's Arnold Cates played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Scott Tyson in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dillon McGrath stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Scott Tyson struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Arnold Cates didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nikiski FC. After 54 minutes of play, Nikiski FC's Jesus Hawthorne made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnold Cates was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arnold Cates came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Nikiski FC's Lanny Buckner. But to his dismay, Lanny Buckner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Rigoberto Goddard hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the game, Nikiski FC's Lanny Buckner nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnold Cates made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. If Dillon McGrath had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnold Cates took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jesus Hawthorne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chuck Murry could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Lionel Busby made a huge save. Nikiski FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
