Gerardo Jorgensen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eatontown's Brock Jolly got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eatontown's Nathan Driscoll quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Francesco Hubbard, made in the 12th minute of the game. 19 minutes into the game, Francesco Hubbard threw the ball into play from the sideline. Eatontown's Nathan Driscoll quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The supporters of Nikiski FC booed when Eatontown was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sterling Loomis didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brock Jolly in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lionel Busby saved Nikiski FC from getting behind. Sterling Loomis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Lionel Busby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lionel Busby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Jorgensen, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Rigoberto Goddard received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Josiah Haines came out and tried to block the shot, but Rigoberto Goddard slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 45th minute.

Rigoberto Goddard kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brock Jolly in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lionel Busby prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Brock Jolly blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lionel Busby having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brock Jolly in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lionel Busby prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Brock Jolly's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lionel Busby was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Lionel Busby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brock Jolly, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Brock Jolly struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Lionel Busby didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eatontown. Sterling Loomis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Nikiski FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Rigoberto Goddard hit a great ball. When Rigoberto Goddard got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for Nikiski FC. Nikiski FC's Lionel Busby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brock Jolly in the 91st minute of play. If Nathan Driscoll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Despite being the better team, Eatontown failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
