Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) McColl FC's Wilber Kearns started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 10 minutes, Wilber Kearns mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the McColl FC and the River Oaks players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, McColl FC's Wilber Kearns got a free kick in the 10th minute. Arnold Cates made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Peoples in the 19th minute of play. After 19 played minutes River Oaks got a freekick which was hit by Otis Chappelle. In the 24th minute Steve Cermak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnold Cates saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th match minute, River Oaks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timmy Arellano to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of River Oaks booed when McColl FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilber Kearns didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, Cesar Weaver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chuck Murry struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Elliot Lopes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for River Oaks. Elliot Lopes made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Chuck Murry sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 43 minutes, Steve Cermak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. McColl FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Steve Cermak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 45 minutes into the game, Kyle Peoples cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Arnold Cates was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dillon McGrath was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in McColl FC's zone, Chuck Murry stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elliot Lopes came out of the goal and Chuck Murry tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When River Oaks's Dillon McGrath in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye McColl FC's goalie prevented a goal. Arnold Cates was a little too slow when Kyle Peoples got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 56th minute. The score was now 1-2. McColl FC's Elliot Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dillon McGrath in the 63rd minute of play. Chuck Murry's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elliot Lopes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Arnold Cates showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Titus Deering in the 77th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, River Oaks's goalkeeper Arnold Cates had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Steve Cermak. Elliot Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chuck Murry, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 82nd match minute, McColl FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Titus Deering to maneuver through the defense. Chuck Murry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Elliot Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chuck Murry recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnold Cates showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilber Kearns, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Arnold Cates made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Friedman in the 91st minute of play. Kyle Peoples could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Arnold Cates made a huge save. 94 minutes into the match, Titus Deering dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arnold Cates, 1-4.
