An unexpectedly hard shot by Von Ambriz in the 24th minute of play forced Chicago Fc's goalkeeper Ricky Burrell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cameron Cullen took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ricky Burrell. Cameron Cullen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricky Burrell having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Chicago Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Von Ambriz came free, but Ricky Burrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luther McGill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roscoe Lee in the 38th minute of the match. Ricky Burrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Von Ambriz in the 41st minute of play. Von Ambriz struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Ricky Burrell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Citizens FC. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roscoe Lee stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Enoch Medina's late challenge caught a Citizens FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enoch Medina helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th match minute, Chicago Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enoch Medina to maneuver through the defense. If Von Ambriz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cedric Bryson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Ricky Burrell made a huge save. In the 61st match minute, Chicago Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enoch Medina to maneuver through the defense. Von Ambriz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ricky Burrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Chicago Fc booed when Citizens FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. DeAndre Stanton didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Chicago Fc's zone, Cameron Cullen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricky Burrell came out of the goal and Cameron Cullen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Chicago Fc getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Roscoe Lee hit a great ball. Cameron Cullen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Ricky Burrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Citizens FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
