With a couple of smart ball manuevers Percy Larkin in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fred Bailey saved Highview FC from getting behind. In the 9th minute, Angelo Honeycutt made a precise shot to the right of Ronnie Burke. macomb fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 12th minute of the match Vicente Bannister sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fred Bailey skillfully saved the ball. Ronnie Burke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angelo Honeycutt in the 16th minute. In the 21st minute Alejandro Morrison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fred Bailey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommie Sullivan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ronnie Burke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tommie Sullivan in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronnie Burke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Angelo Honeycutt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alejandro Morrison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Bailey having to interfere. A hard shot 39 in the game by Angelo Honeycutt from a close distance when the talented Ronnie Burke managed to make a qualified save. macomb fc's players were relieved. Quinn Juarez kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Fred Bailey came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by macomb fc's Percy Larkin. But to his dismay, Percy Larkin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The crowd rose to their feet as Percy Larkin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fred Bailey. That made the score 1-3 in the 60 minute of play. Terrell Guinn hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. If Alejandro Morrison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. After a rather tough play, Highview FC's Tommie Sullivan got a free kick in the 75th minute. 76 minutes into the game, Percy Larkin lined in a short shot 1-4 behind a frustrated Fred Bailey. During the 86th minute of the match Zachary Gates completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Zachary Gates a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game.
