Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Roman Manning started the match with the kick off. Noel Thornton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Manning in the 3rd minute of the match. Louis Campbell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alejandro Cannon in the 4th minute. After 8 minutes, Roland Barbour mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Roseau FC and the La Vista players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th minute, Roland Barbour hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the La Vista defense, Roman Manning kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Noel Thornton. The La Vista fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Noel Thornton should have stopped the shot. Russell Orozco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Noel Thornton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Noel Thornton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Russell Orozco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 minutes, Roman Manning mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Roseau FC and the La Vista players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Roseau FC's Roman Manning got a free kick in the 20th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Roseau FC's zone, Oren Enriquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Louis Campbell came out of the goal and Oren Enriquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Louis Campbell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alejandro Cannon in the 34th minute. Neil Hutchison hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. When Roman Manning, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 37 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Noel Thornton was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Russell Orozco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Neil Hutchison fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Vista's protests and gave Neil Hutchison a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd match minute, La Vista was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Neil Hutchison to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oren Enriquez in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Louis Campbell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half Roseau FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

La Vista's Alejandro Cannon got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th minute, Russell Orozco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Noel Thornton. The goal made the score 0-2. Neil Hutchison kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Roman Manning got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in La Vista's zone, Russell Orozco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noel Thornton came out of the goal and Russell Orozco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Louis Campbell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oren Enriquez in the 70th minute of play. Roman Manning received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Noel Thornton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paul Barnard's late challenge caught a Roseau FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paul Barnard helped the player get up and apologised. Stevie Dow hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 87th match minute, La Vista was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Cannon to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Roseau FC's goalkeeper Louis Campbell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Roseau FC defense, Neil Hutchison kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Louis Campbell. The Roseau FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Louis Campbell should have stopped the shot. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
