After a rather tough play, North Springfield's Kris Bennett got a free kick in the 25th minute. Jerrod Durham got his second yellow card in the match during the 27th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Ignacio Butler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zachariah Posey, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 34 played minutes North Springfield got a freekick which was hit by Joesph Cross. Emerson Grimes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Samuel Ruth came out and tried to block the shot, but Emerson Grimes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 35th minute. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind South Greensburg's goalkeeper Ignacio Butler, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When North Springfield's Zachariah Posey in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Thanks to some nice moves Kris Bennett could shoot a difficult shot in the 65th minute, which Ignacio Butler however easily saved by the left post. In the 79th minute North Springfield were awarded a corner. Josiah Courtney went to the cornerflag to take it. Richard Huston tried in the 79th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Ignacio Butler a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-3. In the 84th minute, Josiah Courtney sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and South Greensburg's Ignacio Butler didn't even have to move. South Greensburg's Ignacio Butler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save South Greensburg from getting a goal against them. Ignacio Butler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kris Bennett went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Although South Greensburg had been in control for most of the match, North Springfield still came away with the win.
