Tysons Corner AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave South Greensburg the free kick. Johnathon Coleman hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute, Tysons Corner AFC's Cobi Bruce dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. South Greensburg's Ignacio Butler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cobi Bruce in the 20th minute of play. South Greensburg's Ignacio Butler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save South Greensburg from getting a goal against them. Cobi Bruce received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ignacio Butler came out and tried to block the shot, but Cobi Bruce slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 22nd minute. Emerson Grimes hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Caleb Cutler got free with Ignacio Butler in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Emerson Grimes kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Ignacio Butler was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cobi Bruce showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 29 minute of play. After some careless play in the Tysons Corner AFC defense, Emerson Grimes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Norman Newton. The Tysons Corner AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Norman Newton should have stopped the shot. Ignacio Butler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cobi Bruce, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After 36 played minutes South Greensburg got a freekick which was hit by Jerrod Durham. Ignacio Butler made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Caleb Cutler sent off a good shot on target. 42 minutes into the match, South Greensburg's goalkeeper Ignacio Butler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caleb Cutler. Jeremiah Thorpe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Norman Newton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. 45 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tysons Corner AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Emerson Grimes was slow to take the kick. During this time South Greensburg's players had a chance to rest. The corner led South Greensburg's Emerson Grimes to fire away a dangerous shot which Norman Newton despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Roscoe Presley had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Norman Newton. Tysons Corner AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roscoe Presley was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-2 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emerson Grimes to make the kick off. After 50 played minutes Tysons Corner AFC got a freekick which was hit by Dwayne Perdue. 53 minutes into the match, Tysons Corner AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Emerson Grimes came free, but Norman Newton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ignacio Butler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cobi Bruce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tysons Corner AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Emerson Grimes scored to the left of an out of position Norman Newton, making the score, 4-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cobi Bruce in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ignacio Butler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 64 minutes into the match, South Greensburg's goal looked a bit too open when Cobi Bruce came free, but Ignacio Butler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 65 minutes, Emerson Grimes made it 4-4 with a short kick to the right side. Tysons Corner AFC's Norman Newton tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot 69 in the game by Emerson Grimes from a close distance when the talented Norman Newton managed to make a qualified save. Tysons Corner AFC's players were relieved. With his leg Norman Newton managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when South Greensburg's Emerson Grimes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. German Bass kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. South Greensburg's Ignacio Butler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caleb Cutler in the 77th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Emerson Grimes managed to get in a good position for a shot. South Greensburg's supporters rose to their feet, but Emerson Grimes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Norman Newton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emerson Grimes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emerson Grimes in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Norman Newton saved Tysons Corner AFC from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flint Titus during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some careless play in the South Greensburg defense, Johnathon Coleman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ignacio Butler. The South Greensburg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ignacio Butler should have stopped the shot. Cobi Bruce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. South Greensburg's Ignacio Butler tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tysons Corner AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while South Greensburg had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
