Emerson Grimes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 6thth minute of the game Emerson Grimes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fairfield Glade's Tony Cahill was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emerson Grimes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Tony Cahill tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ignacio Butler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tyrone Burroughs in the 9th minute of the match. Ignacio Butler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tyrone Burroughs in the 11th minute of play. Fairfield Glade were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after South Greensburg's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alfonso Fenton took the corner. The corner ended in Alfonso Fenton almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but South Greensburg's Ignacio Butler did a great save. Emerson Grimes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Tony Cahill tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 17 played minutes Fairfield Glade got a freekick which was hit by Rocco Ruth. In the 21st minute, Tyrone Burroughs fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ignacio Butler, passed just outside the right post. In the 23rd minute Emerson Grimes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tony Cahill saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremiah Thorpe struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Tony Cahill didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for South Greensburg. Tony Cahill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emerson Grimes, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Jeremiah Thorpe scored 0-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tony Cahill, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 30 played minutes Fairfield Glade got a freekick which was hit by Juan Choi. After 33 minutes of play, South Greensburg's Emerson Grimes made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tony Cahill was left in no man's land by his defense there! Emerson Grimes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oliver Izturis's late challenge caught a South Greensburg's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oliver Izturis helped the player get up and apologised. South Greensburg made a substitution. Roger Charles replaced Emerson Grimes. In the 39th match minute, Fairfield Glade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Izturis to maneuver through the defense. Roger Charles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tony Cahill having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roger Charles in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tony Cahill saved Fairfield Glade from getting behind. Jeremiah Thorpe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Roger Charles was the one to do the kick off. Roger Charles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clark Maurer in the 52nd minute of play forced Fairfield Glade's goalkeeper Tony Cahill to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ignacio Butler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tyrone Burroughs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tyrone Burroughs in the 57th minute of play forced South Greensburg's goalkeeper Ignacio Butler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Roger Charles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tony Cahill was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Tony Cahill showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roger Charles in the 67th minute of the match. Roger Charles's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 73rdth minute, Tony Cahill skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Roger Charles who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Tony Cahill when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 78th minute, Tyrone Burroughs ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ignacio Butler was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. The supporters of Fairfield Glade booed when South Greensburg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zane Williams didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tony Cahill came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by South Greensburg's Roger Charles. But to his dismay, Roger Charles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. The supporters of South Greensburg booed when Fairfield Glade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rocco Ruth didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Roger Charles managed to get in a good position for a shot. South Greensburg's supporters rose to their feet, but Roger Charles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tony Cahill breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
