The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th match minute, Starke AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johnathon Slaughter to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the match, Wyatt Hendrix dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Freddie Napier, 1-0. Darin Teague showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Truman Vera, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. In the 15th minute Rob Crocker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddie Napier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Starke AFC's Freddie Napier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ervin Foster in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Weimar FC's Oliver Lawrence ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Freddie Napier. Freddie Napier yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Freddie Napier was a little too slow when Ervin Foster got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 3-0. Freddie Napier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rob Crocker, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Starke AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Rob Crocker came free, but Freddie Napier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Oliver Lawrence dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Freddie Napier, 4-0. After a rather tough play, Starke AFC's Tom Herrington got a free kick in the 38th minute. Starke AFC were furious when Alec Dunbar was red carded, 44 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pierre Reed was the one to do the kick off. Freddie Napier didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Weimar FC's Rob Crocker shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 6-0 in the ordered_time% minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rob Crocker in the 55th minute of play forced Starke AFC's goalkeeper Freddie Napier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddie Napier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rob Crocker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Darin Teague made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre Reed in the 61st minute of play. Pierre Reed sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Clayton Engle took a quick shot and it went in 6-1 without a chance for Darin Teague to make any attempt to save it. Freddie Napier didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oliver Lawrence went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. In the 75th minute, Rob Crocker ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Freddie Napier was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wyatt Hendrix during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 83rd minute, Wyatt Hendrix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Freddie Napier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rob Crocker, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Pierre Reed could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Darin Teague however easily saved by the left post. Weimar FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
