Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Arthur Burkett started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Merlin Carbajal's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bailey Kirkland firmly grabbed it by the left post. Julian Ragsdale hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. 10 minutes into the match, NY Metropolitans's goal looked a bit too open when Quentin Moody came free, but Bailey Kirkland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Ragsdale took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Barry Goss. Barry Goss dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 23rd play minute Arthur Burkett came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bailey Kirkland. 2-1. Bailey Kirkland made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Arthur Burkett sent off a good shot on target. NY Metropolitans's Bailey Kirkland proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save NY Metropolitans from getting a goal against them. When Dallas Altman fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NY Metropolitans's protests and gave Dallas Altman a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of NY Metropolitans booed when Eden Isle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonzo Rouse didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute, Julian Ragsdale ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Barry Goss was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 44th match minute, NY Metropolitans was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rickey Gonzalez to maneuver through the defense. Dallas Altman took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Barry Goss. Barry Goss dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. After the first half NY Metropolitans were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Dallas Altman made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, NY Metropolitans's Rickey Gonzalez got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Eden Isle's Barry Goss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Ragsdale in the 56th minute of play. Julian Ragsdale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Quentin Moody in the 60th minute of play forced NY Metropolitans's goalkeeper Bailey Kirkland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barry Goss was a little too slow when Dallas Altman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 62nd minute. The score was now 2-4. In the 65th minute, Greg Carlson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rickey Gonzalez let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 68th minute shot 2-5 at rihgt post. NY Metropolitans made a substitution. Lucas McNeil replaced Dallas Altman. Bailey Kirkland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quentin Moody in the 74th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Julian Ragsdale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. NY Metropolitans's Bailey Kirkland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toby Ludwig in the 78th minute of play. Ryan Holt hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After 81 played minutes Eden Isle got a freekick which was hit by Carlo Magee. After a rather tough play, Eden Isle's Merlin Carbajal got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Toby Ludwig took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bailey Kirkland. Bailey Kirkland dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-5. Eden Isle's Barry Goss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas McNeil in the 95th minute of play.
