Emilio Potter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Owen having to interfere. Quincy Watson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Alberto McPherson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute, North Miami AFC's Zachariah Hardin seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Zachariah Hardin the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of North Miami AFC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Zachariah Hardin had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 19th minute Sylvester Childers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Owen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sylvester Childers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Armando Owen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But to his dismay, Sylvester Childers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A hard shot 35 in the game by Al Hadley from a close distance when the talented Alberto McPherson managed to make a qualified save. Carroll FC's players were relieved. In the 39th match minute, Carroll FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilton Lugo to maneuver through the defense. Ernie Slater charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernie Slater the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Carroll FC's Ernie Slater got a free kick in the 41st minute. Al Hadley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto McPherson having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Al Hadley stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, North Miami AFC's Armando Owen got control of the ball when Emilio Potter tried to sneak it across the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Sylvester Childers was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carroll FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave North Miami AFC the free kick. After 68 played minutes Carroll FC got a freekick which was hit by Sylvester Childers. The supporters of North Miami AFC booed when Carroll FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernie Slater didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Stephen Colvin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Al Hadley in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alberto McPherson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Al Hadley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Alberto McPherson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Sylvester Childers fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Armando Owen, passed just outside the right post. Hector Malloy hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Jonah Landreth's late challenge caught a Carroll FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonah Landreth helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, North Miami AFC's Jonah Landreth got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Al Hadley might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alberto McPherson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Al Hadley ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 93rd minute, Stephen Colvin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 95 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Carroll FC! In the 96th minute there was a penalty for North Miami AFC. Jonah Landreth stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Alberto McPherson. 2-2. North Miami AFC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Carroll FC to leave the ground with a draw.
