Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sylvester Childers started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adam Casey during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Carroll FC booed when North Miami AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Casey didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 9 minutes, Sylvester Childers managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carroll FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sylvester Childers was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Tory Bonner fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored North Miami AFC's protests and gave Tory Bonner a yellow card for diving instead. Armando Owen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sylvester Childers in the 12th minute of play. Alberto McPherson came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by North Miami AFC's Quincy Watson. But to his dismay, Quincy Watson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 19 minutes into the match, Carroll FC's goal looked a bit too open when Al Hadley came free, but Alberto McPherson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carroll FC's Alberto McPherson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tory Bonner in the 21st minute of play. Alberto McPherson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quincy Watson in the 25th minute of play. Ernie Slater hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Carroll FC defense, Quincy Watson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alberto McPherson. The Carroll FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alberto McPherson should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Carroll FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Joey Foreman hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Quincy Watson notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Carroll FC's Alberto McPherson. Alberto McPherson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hector Malloy kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Armando Owen made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Emilio Potter sent off a good shot on target. If Quincy Watson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, Al Hadley had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alberto McPherson. Carroll FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Al Hadley was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After the first half North Miami AFC were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Quincy Watson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes, Al Hadley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the North Miami AFC and the Carroll FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, North Miami AFC's Al Hadley got a free kick in the 56th minute. After a rather tough play, North Miami AFC's Jonah Landreth got a free kick in the 57th minute. 67 minutes into the game, Quincy Watson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alberto McPherson. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oswaldo Case charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oswaldo Case the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st minute, Oswaldo Case hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Al Hadleys short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Alberto McPherson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Emilio Potter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armando Owen having to interfere. 1-5 became the score in the 84th minute when Emilio Potter elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The supporters of North Miami AFC booed when Carroll FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernie Slater didn't get a good kick on the ball.
