Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sean Dodge made the kick off and thus started the match. North Massapequa FC's Edgardo Li played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Devin Castle in the 5th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, North Massapequa FC's goal looked a bit too open when Virgilio Ryan came free, but Edgardo Li reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgardo Li made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgilio Ryan in the 9th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Adrian Fay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgardo Li took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilio Ryan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the JESSENOVELS CHIVAS defense, Sean Dodge kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Phil Major. The JESSENOVELS CHIVAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Phil Major should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, JESSENOVELS CHIVAS's Marvin Ash got a free kick in the 21st minute. After a defensive mix-up in JESSENOVELS CHIVAS's zone, Adrian Fay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Phil Major came out of the goal and Adrian Fay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of JESSENOVELS CHIVAS booed when North Massapequa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hunter Ambriz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Terence Lacey charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Terence Lacey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Edgardo Li took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilio Ryan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cole Stringer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Scottie McCoy took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgardo Li. Edgardo Li dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Hunter Ambriz hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Sean Dodge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

In the 52nd minute Virgilio Ryan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgardo Li saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Adrian Fay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute, JESSENOVELS CHIVAS's Devin Castle ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edgardo Li. Edgardo Li yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. In the 64th minute, one of JESSENOVELS CHIVAS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for JESSENOVELS CHIVAS. In the 73rdth minute of the game Adrian Fay who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JESSENOVELS CHIVAS's Phil Major was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 75 minutes into the match, JESSENOVELS CHIVAS's goal looked a bit too open when Sean Dodge came free, but Phil Major reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76th minute of the match North Massapequa FC got a corner. JESSENOVELS CHIVAS's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sean Dodge ran over to the corner to take the kick. Cole Stringer was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 82nd minute, Terence Lacey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, North Massapequa FC's Basil Glenn got a free kick in the 83rd minute. JESSENOVELS CHIVAS's Franklin Clearwater got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Devin Castle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Li having to interfere. In the 89th match minute, North Massapequa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sean Dodge to maneuver through the defense. Adrian Fay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Phil Major tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the North Massapequa FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
