Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rory Guillory got the match started through his kick off. Madera's Nathaniel Durham got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Toby Fenton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Weston Lujan having to interfere. After some careless play in the Glens Falls defense, Toby Fenton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Weston Lujan. The Glens Falls fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Weston Lujan should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Madera getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Teddy Dugan hit a great ball. Vance Waddell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Glens Falls getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Peter Hensley hit a great ball. Teddy Dugan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Weston Lujan. Glens Falls's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Nathaniel Durham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Weston Lujan having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Toby Fenton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Weston Lujan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rory Guillory sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edward Hatcher's late challenge caught a Glens Falls's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edward Hatcher helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th minute, Edward Hatcher hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Madera getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Edward Hatcher hit a great ball. Domingo Chung kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. If Nathaniel Durham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vance Waddell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Frankie Temple tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Madera's Nathaniel Durham in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Glens Falls's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hayden Schulz during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 83 played minutes Glens Falls got a freekick which was hit by Sterling Culver. In the 84th minute, Teddy Dugan sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Glens Falls's Weston Lujan didn't even have to move. Glens Falls's Weston Lujan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nathaniel Durham in the 87th minute of play. Vance Waddell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frankie Temple having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
