The supporters of Robbinsdale booed when Flandreau AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tom Downey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quinn Starks might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rhett Egan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jess Engel was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Wes Deleon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flandreau AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wes Deleon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luther Guillory breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jess Engel in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rhett Egan saved Flandreau AFC from getting behind.
