Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Landon Workman kicked off to start the match. After having played for 6 minutes, Parker Cage managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. World United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Parker Cage was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mohammed Yoshioka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmed Flanagan having to interfere. World United's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Joshua Bergman scored to the left of an out of position Allan Aranda, making the score, 1-0. World United's Eddy Sheets got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Parker Cage received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Ahmed Flanagan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Raphael French during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Webster Groves's Joshua Bergman got a free kick in the 28th minute. Joshua Bergman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Allan Aranda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Landon Workman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Joshua Bergman came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Webster Groves fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joshua Bergman couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Landon Workman scored 2-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Allan Aranda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joshua Bergman in the 55th minute of play forced World United's goalkeeper Allan Aranda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Landon Workman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eddy Sheets received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Ahmed Flanagan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in World United's zone, Shelton Lassiter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Allan Aranda came out of the goal and Shelton Lassiter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mohammed Yoshioka received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Ahmed Flanagan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damien Ortiz hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. The Webster Groves support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
