Akatsuki FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sherrelwood AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Akatsuki FC's Romeo Hadley got a free kick in the 5th minute. Teodoro Reese showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otto Suarez, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Akatsuki FC's zone, Otto Suarez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodoro Reese came out of the goal and Otto Suarez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Otto Suarez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teodoro Reese was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Akatsuki FC's Francesco Sheppard slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jarrod Ayala. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. A collision led to Akatsuki FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Benedict Manning hit a great ball. After 25 minutes Akatsuki FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Otto Suarez who took care of the corner kick. In the 29th minute Francesco Sheppard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarrod Ayala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Sherrelwood AFC fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Sherrelwood AFC's Otto Suarez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Byron Alexander fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sherrelwood AFC's protests and gave Byron Alexander a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 played minutes Sherrelwood AFC got a freekick which was hit by Byron Alexander. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benedict Manning got free with Jarrod Ayala in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the match, Otto Suarez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teodoro Reese. Akatsuki FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Otto Suarez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Jarrod Ayala made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Douglas Pugh sent off a good shot on target. The Akatsuki FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sherrelwood AFC were winning 1-2.

Sandy Anthony's late challenge caught a Akatsuki FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sandy Anthony helped the player get up and apologised. Jarrod Ayala had in the 52ndth minute some difficulties stopping D.J. Eastman's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 52 minutes of play, Akatsuki FC's D.J. Eastman made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jarrod Ayala was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Akatsuki FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Benedict Manning hit a great ball. Teodoro Reese stood somewhat misplaced when Otto Suarez came free in front of goal and shot 2-3 to the left of him in the 56 minute. After a rather tough play, Akatsuki FC's Russ Cuevas got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 65th minute, Otto Suarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 68 minutes into the match, Sherrelwood AFC's Otto Suarez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teodoro Reese narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Otto Suarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Reese having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Benedict Manning hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 77 in the game by Otto Suarez from a close distance when the talented Teodoro Reese managed to make a qualified save. Akatsuki FC's players were relieved. Otto Suarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Teodoro Reese tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodoro Reese didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Otto Suarez went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. Akatsuki FC's Douglas Pugh got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, Otto Suarez notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of Akatsuki FC's Teodoro Reese. Teodoro Reese was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 89th minute, David Emery hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Akatsuki FC's Antoine Lehman got a free kick in the 91st minute. Teodoro Reese showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Pope in the 93rd minute of the match.
