Genaro Cobb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jed Calderon in the 5th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes Sutton Place FC got a freekick which was hit by Florian Yates. Genaro Cobb stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Charlie Benedict's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Julian Cook received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Hal Noble tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jed Calderon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 0-1 became the score in the 28th minute when Jed Calderon elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 32nd minute Jed Calderon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genaro Cobb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Sutton Place FC's goal looked a bit too open when Charlie Benedict came free, but Genaro Cobb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Jed Calderon notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Sutton Place FC's Genaro Cobb. Genaro Cobb was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jed Calderon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Cook stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Julian Cook hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jed Calderon struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Genaro Cobb didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manhasset. Rudy Rodriguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hal Noble having to interfere. When Julian Cook came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Sutton Place FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Cook couldn't finish the play. In the 62nd minute, Terrence Numbers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stephen Tidwell charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stephen Tidwell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Stephen Tidwell kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Hal Noble didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Terrence Numbers went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Sutton Place FC booed when Manhasset was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Levi Carbajal didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Rudy Rodriguez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sutton Place FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manhasset the free kick. After 71 played minutes Sutton Place FC got a freekick which was hit by Rudy Rodriguez. 74 minutes into the game, Jed Calderon recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Genaro Cobb. Jed Calderon showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Hal Noble came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Sutton Place FC's Terrence Numbers. But to his dismay, Terrence Numbers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Charlie Benedict blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Genaro Cobb having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Jed Calderon took a quick shot and it went in 2-4 without a chance for Genaro Cobb to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jed Calderon in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Genaro Cobb prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Genaro Cobb made an important save on a dangerous shot by Charlie Benedict in the 88th minute. In the 90th match minute, Manhasset was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Vincent to maneuver through the defense. Sutton Place FC's Julian Cook got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Jed Calderon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Genaro Cobb was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Julian Cook charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julian Cook the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 96 played minutes Sutton Place FC got a freekick which was hit by Julian Cook.
