Quincy Rankin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rex Singh's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. Quincy Rankin made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Weldon Guevara sent off a good shot on target. Ottumwa's Marlin Sykes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thaddeus Jenkins in the 11th minute of play. When Rex Singh fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ottumwa's protests and gave Rex Singh a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th match minute, Ottumwa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rex Singh to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Quincy Rankin successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 21 minutes into the game, Domenic Harmon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Woodstock's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ottumwa the free kick. Weldon Guevara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 24th minute, Rex Singh reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Quincy Rankin. The goal made the score 1-0. After having played for 28 minutes, Weldon Guevara managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ottumwa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Weldon Guevara was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Quincy Rankin was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Rex Singh capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Rex Singh really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Hal Lacey hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Rex Singh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Quincy Rankin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Weldon Guevara in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Quincy Rankin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.

Rex Singh blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Quincy Rankin having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Weldon Guevara put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Quincy Rankin. 78 minutes into the match, FC Woodstock's goal looked a bit too open when Rex Singh came free, but Quincy Rankin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85thth minute of the game Thaddeus Jenkins who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ottumwa's Marlin Sykes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Ronnie McHugh sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Marlin Sykes threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Ronnie McHugh this time. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ottumwa had won after a very even match.
