The tension between the Clearlake Oaks and the United G.G players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cedric Langston fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent Hanley having to interfere. If Cedric Langston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Salvatore Krause ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vincent Hanley was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 42nd minute of the match Randell Horne shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Juan Conroy showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A hard shot 45 in the game by Salvatore Krause from a close distance when the talented Vincent Hanley managed to make a qualified save. United G.G's players were relieved. The supporters of Clearlake Oaks booed when United G.G was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Felton didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Salvatore Krause got free with Vincent Hanley in the 49th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Juan Conroy made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Tad Lowry sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Clearlake Oaks's zone, Tad Lowry stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Conroy came out of the goal and Tad Lowry tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th match minute, United G.G was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Avery Driscoll to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute, Salvatore Krause got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Norman Lofton charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Norman Lofton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 59 played minutes United G.G got a freekick which was hit by Norman Lofton. Clearlake Oaks's Salvatore Krause got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vincent Hanley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Salvatore Krause in the 63rd minute of play. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind United G.G's goalkeeper Vincent Hanley, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 70th match minute, United G.G was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Califf to maneuver through the defense. Percy Ortega hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
