Velcho Pentov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Metodi Gadzhanov sent off a good shot on target. Каблешково's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emil Marekov in the 32nd minute. After taking down the ball on Каблешково's corner Emil Marekov fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fodor Daniel quite easily take care of the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Kuncho Kachamakov came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th match minute, Каблешково was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Marekov to maneuver through the defense. Velcho Pentov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Takacs Tibor in the 39th minute of play. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakub Moder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 45 minutes Hungary's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Emil Marekov who took care of the corner kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kuncho Kachamakov to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kuncho Kachamakov in the 56th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, Antal Valentin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 62nd minute, Strahil Novev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Каблешково fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Velcho Pentov should have stopped the shot. A hard shot 81 in the game by Antal Valentin from a close distance when the talented Velcho Pentov managed to make a qualified save. Каблешково's players were relieved.
