Bart Parham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 6th minute, Ward Castaneda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Trinidad Fields made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quinton Altman in the 10th minute of play. Warren Zuniga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Christopher Ortiz made a huge save. Summerside AFC were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Steeleville AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Bart Parham took the corner. The corner led Summerside AFC's Bart Parham to fire away a dangerous shot which Christopher Ortiz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 21st minute, Young Fletcher ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Trinidad Fields was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Trinidad Fields showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ward Castaneda, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Steeleville AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! The supporters of Summerside AFC booed when Steeleville AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Young Fletcher didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Young Fletcher in the 38th minute of play forced Summerside AFC's goalkeeper Trinidad Fields to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the game, Steeleville AFC's Young Fletcher nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Trinidad Fields made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Young Fletcher to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Warren Zuniga in the 53rd minute of play forced Steeleville AFC's goalkeeper Christopher Ortiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Warren Zuniga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Quinton Altman fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Steeleville AFC's protests and gave Quinton Altman a yellow card for diving instead. Quinton Altman hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the match, Summerside AFC's Warren Zuniga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christopher Ortiz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Christopher Ortiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Warren Zuniga in the 68th minute of play. Warren Zuniga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christopher Ortiz having to interfere. In the 72nd match minute, Summerside AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerald Califf to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute, Andre Whitehead hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gerald Califf kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Milo Saunders fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Trinidad Fields, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Young Fletcher in the 76th minute of play forced Summerside AFC's goalkeeper Trinidad Fields to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ward Castaneda took the ball and in the 78 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Trinidad Fields. Trinidad Fields dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Angelo Reeves's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Trinidad Fields firmly grabbed it by the left post. 86 minutes into the match, Angelo Reeves notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Summerside AFC's Trinidad Fields. Trinidad Fields was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 94th minute Bart Parham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christopher Ortiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Warren Zuniga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Christopher Ortiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Summerside AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Steeleville AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Steeleville AFC.
