Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Carlo Kane started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Cheat Lake's Weston Holt got a free kick in the 6th minute. Rusty Beyer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Larry Busby went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Charlie Mayfield might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rusty Beyer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Charlie Mayfield ran back to his position shaking his head. Weston Holt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Larry Busby came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Cheat Lake fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Larry Busby couldn't finish the play. Len Tillman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Archie Perez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Weston Holt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Rusty Beyer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mckinley Cooper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rusty Beyer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Larry Busby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Larry Busby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Charlie Mayfield got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Charlie Mayfield stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Len Tillman's late challenge caught a Cheat Lake's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Len Tillman helped the player get up and apologised. After 64 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cheat Lake! The referee gave Belen a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Trey Bergstrom, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cheat Lake's Archie Perez. 1-1. After 68 played minutes Belen got a freekick which was hit by Carlo Kane. Mckinley Cooper received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Len Tillman couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute, Mckinley Cooper hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Len Tillman struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Archie Perez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belen. Cheat Lake were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
