Young Fletcher showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Aurelio Trimble made an important save on a dangerous shot by Young Fletcher in the 18th minute. In the 20th minute, Young Fletcher ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelio Trimble was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Jared Ogden hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Kraig Humphries's late challenge caught a Steeleville AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. In the 26th match minute, STERLING F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kraig Humphries to maneuver through the defense. Young Fletcher could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Aurelio Trimble made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Aurelio Trimble successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

STERLING F.C were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after Steeleville AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Louie Storr took the corner. 58 minutes into the match, STERLING F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Young Fletcher came free, but Aurelio Trimble reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aurelio Trimble made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Young Fletcher in the 60th minute of play. 61 minutes into the game, Steeleville AFC's Young Fletcher nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aurelio Trimble made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 65th minute, Nicholas Winter made a precise shot to the right of Aurelio Trimble. In the 72nd minute, Young Fletcher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aurelio Trimble came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Steeleville AFC's Young Fletcher. But to his dismay, Young Fletcher quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 79th minute, Nicholas Winter ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelio Trimble was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Aurelio Trimble showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ward Castaneda in the 82nd minute of the match. STERLING F.C's Aurelio Trimble played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Young Fletcher in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Young Fletcher in the 85th minute of play forced STERLING F.C's goalkeeper Aurelio Trimble to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ward Castaneda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 87 played minutes STERLING F.C got a freekick which was hit by Jared Ogden. Steeleville AFC's Young Fletcher got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aurelio Trimble took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Young Fletcher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
