An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicholas Winter in the 8th minute of play forced Cheat Lake's goalkeeper Archie Perez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Nicholas Winter kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Archie Perez. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. After 15 played minutes Cheat Lake got a freekick which was hit by Charlie Mayfield. Milo Saunders, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Cheat Lake's goal looked a bit too open when Nicholas Winter came free, but Archie Perez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Steeleville AFC's Nicholas Winter got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cheat Lake's Archie Perez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Cheat Lake from getting a goal against them. Young Fletcher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Archie Perez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicholas Winter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Archie Perez having to interfere. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cheat Lake's goalkeeper Archie Perez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Charlie Mayfield was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Young Fletcher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Archie Perez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicholas Winter in the 53rd minute of the match. Milo Saunders, 59 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Cheat Lake getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Charlie Mayfield hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, Steeleville AFC's Milo Saunders broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Young Fletcher received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Archie Perez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicholas Winter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Archie Perez having to interfere. In the 72nd match minute, Cheat Lake was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charlie Mayfield to maneuver through the defense. Ward Castaneda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Archie Perez having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Young Fletcher in the 77th minute of play forced Cheat Lake's goalkeeper Archie Perez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th match minute, Cheat Lake was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charlie Mayfield to maneuver through the defense. After 83 minutes, Ward Castaneda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Steeleville AFC and the Cheat Lake players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ward Castaneda hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Cheat Lake's Archie Perez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Young Fletcher in the 85th minute of play. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Nicholas Winter sped through Cheat Lake's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Archie Perez. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cheat Lake's goalkeeper Archie Perez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ward Castaneda in the 98th minute of play forced Cheat Lake's goalkeeper Archie Perez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Steeleville AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
